Angel Scene
Dew Drops need a low bun, but it doesn’t matter if they have a part because their heads are covered by the hats. Dew Drop Fairies, Archangels, and Silver Angels should have hair slicked straight back in a high bun.
Battle Scene
Mice should have hair back in a ponytail or very flat bun.
Rats should have hair done in a way that will accommodate the rat ears.
Soldiers need to have a high bun to accommodate soldier hats.
Flower Scene
Flower Corps, Flower Soloists, Rose Queen, Rose Petals should have hair slicked straight back in a high bun.
Gingers
Two high braided buns, parted down the center.
Merlitons
Hair should be in a high bun.
Party Scene
For Party Girls, your rehearsal director suggests doing rag curls the night before and take them out at the theatre or in the morning. It’s historically correct and is safer than curling irons. Here is a video tutorial on how to do rag curls: Rag Curls Video. Also, please have sides pulled up and back so the bow can be attached. Bring extra bobby pins and hair spray.
Russian
Hair should be in a high bun with no part.
