Between shows on Friday & Saturday and in a limited way during longer rehearsals at the theater, lunch and snacks you bring from home may be consumed in designated areas away from the costumes and dressing rooms. There will not be time to leave the theater for meal break between performances. Please follow the following rules regarding food at the Civic Center:
- NO EATING OR DRINKING ANYTHING BUT WATER IN YOUR COSTUME – EVER!
- Please turn in the food you bring from home to your rehearsal director when you arrive so it can be returned to you at the appropriate eating times
- Eat only in designated areas as specified by your rehearsal director
- No food or drink in the lobby or the auditorium
- Only water is allowed on the stage level
- Permitted food items include crackers, fruit, granola bars, sandwiches and other items that are not messy or staining
You should bring these items with you (and label them with your name):
- Shoes and tights as specified, other personal dancewear
- Foundation, mascara, false eyelashes (if required)
- Water and food as listed above
You may NOT bring these items with you:
- Valuable items
- Greasy or messy items like pizza (nor may you order them in)
- Don’t bring anything unnecessary – space is limited in the dressing rooms
