Drop off:
Performers must have their Backstage Pass and enter through the Stoner Theatre door on the east side of the building at least 30 minutes before the show. Dressing rooms are assigned by role. Performers should check in with the dressing room chaperone or rehearsal director upon arrival. Dancers who are not checked in within 30 minutes before the show may be replaced for that performance. If your rehearsal director has specified a different arrival time, that supersedes this post.
After dropping off cast members, parents must leave the backstage area unless assigned a specific backstage job at that time. During rehearsals parents are welcomed in the lower third of the auditorium and may sit quietly in the Civic Center lobbies. On Performance days parents must leave the theatre. Parents with tickets will need to leave the lobby and return through security at the doors designated for audience members.
Pick up:
After rehearsals, if you are in the theatre, you may pick up your performer by showing their Audition Number Card at the Stoner Theatre. Otherwise, you will pick up your performer from the East Lobby at 4th and Locust by showing their Audition Number Card from your vehicle.
During Intermission, parents may pick up Act 1 performers by showing their dancer’s Audition Number Card at the Stoner Theatre, but must must have a paid seat to watch Act 2 with their performer. All Act 1 performers who are not in Act 2 may have the opportunity to watch Act 2 in the audience with a chaperone if shows are not sold out.
After performances, if you have attended the performance, you may pick up your performer by showing their Audition Number Card at the Stoner Theatre. Otherwise, you must pick up your performer from the East Lobby at 4th and Locust by showing their Audition Number Card from your vehicle.
