From 1985 to 1996, Iowa Dance Theatre performed the Nutcracker at Valley High School, the Botanical Center, the Art Center, Marshalltown IA, Creston IA and one year at the Hoyt Sherman Place (1994). Performing as the Sugar Plum Fairy during these years: Debra Hiatt, Lisa Olauson Fiene, Annette Darr and Elizabeth Harano (Adams). Performing as the Cavalier during these years: Steven Cook, Chuck Cantrell, David Simpson, Hank Adams and Ron Olson. Mary Joyce Lind was Artistic Director. View photos below.
